Went for a run today at Raab park. Not a great run, but not a terrible one either. 10 min walking, 20 min running. Too hot and gravelly, but at least I got out there!

Pizza!
I'm posting this from my new phone. How exciting!
Tonight is pizza and great escape night! The pizza crust is a new recipe from the King Arthur Baking Companion with some added whole wheat flour. It was a big hit.

Accomplishments of the Weekend
aka, what I've been doing to avoid finals...
Food:
Yogurt (in the crockpot)
Granola with nuts, currants, and quinoa
Sesame Peanut Dressing
Ranch Dressing
Veggie Orzo Pilaf
All delicious, though the yogurt has a slightly odd consistency.
Running:
13min running, 2min walking
Not bad for my super wimpy state!

A New Start
Today I went for my first run in months. I have trouble running when it's cold and dark out, so this perpetual winter we've been having certainly doesn't help. It was a very short run, 15min of 2min running, 1min walking, but I think it's a good start.
The problem with not running for a long time is that you forget how much you like to run and it just becomes an onerous chore that your putting off for as long as possible. Now I remember how much I enjoy it and the sun is shining. Maybe I'll keep it up this time.
Goal: Run another 5k by the time I leave for Santa Barbara
