Today I went for my first run in months. I have trouble running when it's cold and dark out, so this perpetual winter we've been having certainly doesn't help. It was a very short run, 15min of 2min running, 1min walking, but I think it's a good start.
The problem with not running for a long time is that you forget how much you like to run and it just becomes an onerous chore that your putting off for as long as possible. Now I remember how much I enjoy it and the sun is shining. Maybe I'll keep it up this time.
Goal: Run another 5k by the time I leave for Santa Barbara
